Leafy Surry Hills calm with poolside entertaining

Convido Oasis sits on Poplar Street, a laneway off Goulburn Street at the northern tip of Surry Hills. Museum and Town Hall stations are both an easy walk, Hyde Park is around the corner, and a small park backs onto the building. Oxford Street, the Crown Street dining strip and the Surry Hills cafes are all within a few minutes, and the buses run along Oxford Street.

This is a courtyard building rather than a tower, so it looks inward and stays quiet. North-facing apartments open onto the pool and the planted courtyard, which gives the place a leafy feel unusual for this side of the city.

The twenty-metre outdoor pool and its poolside entertaining area are the centre of the building, with a spa and a gym alongside. Lift access, security entry and video intercom cover the building, and secure parking is available on site for an additional charge. It is a good fit if you want inner-city Sydney on foot but somewhere still to come home to.
