South Bank by Convido

South Bank by Convido sits on Cordelia Street in South Brisbane, on the Grey Street edge of the South Bank precinct. The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre is eight hundred metres away, the performing arts complex under a kilometre, and Streets Beach and the South Bank parklands about fifteen minutes on foot. The nearest station is roughly twelve minutes' walk and the busway interchange is close. Brisbane Airport is around fifteen kilometres.

This is a three-tower complex of thirty levels, so it runs at scale rather than as a boutique building. Upper floors look out across South Brisbane and towards the river.

The rooftop is where the facilities are. An outdoor pool is open year round, with a spa and a sauna, a communal rooftop deck and barbecues for the evenings. Inside there is a fitness centre, a residents lounge, a cinema room, a games room and a meeting room.

Housekeeping runs weekly, and luggage storage and a tour desk sit at reception. On-site parking is available for an additional charge, and with more than seven hundred spaces in the building it is a realistic option rather than a wait list. Bike storage is available.
