Merivale by Convido

Merivale by Convido sits on Merivale Street in South Brisbane, a few minutes from the cultural precinct. The Gallery of Modern Art is three minutes' walk, the Queensland Museum five, the Wheel of Brisbane ten and the South Bank Parklands thirteen. The nearest station is about eight minutes and buses are closer. A pub, a pizzeria and a Vietnamese kitchen are all within two minutes of the door. Brisbane Airport is sixteen kilometres.

The two towers here run thirty levels each, and apartments are deliberately turned either towards the city or out to Mount Coot-tha, so you get a real outlook rather than a view of the next building. Living areas have floor-to-ceiling glass.

Everything shared sits on the fifth floor. A heated glass-edge pool and heated spa look back over the city, with a sundeck and lounges around them. There is a fully equipped gym, a residents lounge, barbecues and a function room seating up to twenty that works for a meeting or a dinner.

Reception is staffed from eight until eight. One parking space is complimentary when you book direct, and there is a car wash bay on site. A ground-floor cafe opens onto the street.
