Queen Street by Convido stands on Queen Street between Lonsdale and Little Lonsdale, four minutes' walk from Melbourne Central Station and inside the free tram zone. Flagstaff Gardens are four minutes west, the State Library seven hundred metres east and the Emporium shopping centre about seven minutes away. The city conference centre is six minutes on foot, and some of Melbourne's better-known restaurants are a ten to twenty minute walk in almost any direction.

The building runs forty-eight levels and its centrepiece is a three-storey planted atrium cut through the middle of it, which is what makes the shared spaces feel different from the usual tower podium.

Two full floors are given over to residents. Swim in the heated indoor lap pool, then take the spa and sauna. There is a fully equipped gym, a library, a private theatre and a landscaped garden and terrace, plus a lounge and dining area and a meeting room that can be booked ahead.

Check-in is from two and a late checkout can be arranged by the hour. Bike storage is available. Car parking is limited to a small automated stacker, so plan on parking off site.
