Market Street by Convido

Market Street by Convido sits on the tree-lined corner of Market and Collins Streets, at the financial end of the city and inside the free tram zone, with a stop a hundred metres from the door. Southern Cross Station is six hundred metres, under ten minutes on foot, and Flinders Street a little closer. Crown and the Southbank promenade are three hundred and fifty metres south across the river, and Hardware Lane, Degraves Street and the aquarium are all under ten minutes.

Water is the theme inside. A heated indoor lap pool runs from half past five in the morning, and there is a separate relaxation pool with jets alongside it, plus a sauna and a steam room. A fully equipped gym opens at six and closes at ten.

Work is genuinely well handled. Three conference rooms take up to a hundred and eighty people and there is ballroom space in the building, which is more capacity than anywhere else in the collection.

A restaurant and bar open off Collins Street, reception is staffed around the clock, and housekeeping runs daily. Parking is in a secure public car park a hundred metres away rather than in the building.
