Margaret Street by Convido occupies Brisbane's tallest building, ninety levels above the south-eastern corner of the city, close to the City Botanic Gardens and the Queen's Wharf precinct. A taxi rank and bus stop are two minutes from the door and the nearest station about eleven minutes' walk. Brisbane Airport is thirteen kilometres away.

Height is the whole proposition here. Apartments sit high in the tower, many of them between the forty-second and eighty-first levels, which is an unusual altitude for a long stay anywhere in Australia. On a clear day the outlook runs from the Glass House Mountains in the north to Moreton Bay in the east.

Resident facilities are on the fortieth and sixty-sixth levels: an indoor swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, a steam room and barbecue facilities, open from five in the morning until ten at night.

Reception is staffed twenty-four hours a day, seven days, which is the strongest service model in the collection and worth having when a flight lands late. A storage cage comes with the apartment. Parking is available in the adjoining car park at a nightly rate, though note the car park operates weekdays only and closes on weekends, so leave the car elsewhere if you need it on a Saturday.
