Haymarket by Convido sits at the southern end of the city, two hundred metres from the Capitol Theatre with Chinatown and the markets immediately around it. Central Station is under ten minutes on foot, the light rail four, and Museum Station about five. Hyde Park is four hundred metres north, the convention and entertainment centres six hundred and fifty west, and Pitt Street Mall about ten minutes.

This is the busiest, most food-dense pocket in the collection. Dixon Street, the Thai and Malaysian strips along Campbell Street, and the late-night market trade are all within a couple of blocks, which is the reason to stay here rather than in the quieter end of the CBD.

The building runs thirty-eight levels and most apartments have a private balcony with a panoramic city outlook. A sixteen-metre heated indoor pool and a spa open early and run until ten at night, and there is a gym, a sundeck with barbecues, and a table tennis table.

Reception is staffed around the clock and conference facilities are available in the building. Secure undercover parking is on site but limited, so book it ahead.
