Characterful city-centre living opposite the QVB

Convido Marble Arch sits on York Street looking across at the Queen Victoria Building, a minute from the Town Hall. Town Hall Station is the closest, buses run along York and Park Streets, and the QVB, Pitt Street Mall, Hyde Park, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and Barangaroo are all a short walk in one direction or another. For a stay built around the city centre, the address does most of the work.

This is a conversion rather than a purpose-built apartment block, and it feels like one. Eight levels, thirty-odd apartments, solid walls, high ceilings, exposed timber and steel, big windows and a glass atrium bringing light into the middle of the building. It reads closer to a New York warehouse than a Sydney tower.

There are no shared leisure facilities here. What you get instead is space, quiet and one of the best-placed front doors in the city. Secure swipe access and intercom entry control the building, with lift access to every floor.
