A five-star heritage landmark overlooking Albert Park

Albert Park by Convido stands on Kitchener Street with Albert Park directly in front of it, on the ridge between the park and Queen Street. The city art gallery is at the other end of the same block and the building runs through to the High Street boutique strip at the back. Queen Street is a few minutes away, Britomart and the Viaduct Harbour around ten, and the airport a little over half an hour by road.

The tower rises from a preserved 1913 courthouse, which is still the base you walk into. Above it, a stepped roofline makes the building one of the more recognisable shapes on the Auckland skyline, and for two decades this was the tallest residential building in New Zealand. Apartments look out over the park to the Waitematā Harbour and the wharves beyond.

Resident facilities sit on the eighth floor. Swim in the 22-metre heated indoor pool, then take the sauna or one of the spa pools, indoors or out. A full gym is on the same level, with separate change rooms and showers.

Reception is staffed around the clock, secure entry and cameras cover the building, and undercover parking can be booked ahead.
